** New Employment Opportunity Announced at KHRP **
KHRP is pleased to announce a new vacancy for an Assistant to the Executive Director (Full Time).

This role offers an amazing opportunity to support the Co-Founder and Executive Director of an independent, non-political human rights organisation dedicated to the promotion and protection of the human rights of all persons in the Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria and elsewhere. KHRP pioneered bringing the individual petition before the European Court of Human Rights. KHRP is a registered charity founded in London in 1992 working with its partner organisations in the regions. It functions as a catalyst for justice through its analysis, advocacy and action.

KHRP seeks an all round ‘trouble-shooter’ and ‘go-getter’ who will provide administrative and logistical assistance to the Executive Director, and where relevant the Deputy Director. Responsibilities will include liaising with relevant staff once decisions have been made on the logistical details in line with the Executive Director’s needs and the organisational mandate; arranging meetings, travel, and accommodation; preparing speeches and presentations; maintaining the schedule of the Executive Director; directing interns in conducting research as necessary; assisting with special projects; and maintaining organisation and confidentiality of information and materials. In addition, the candidate will act as a sounding board for the Executive Director and be encouraged to actively assert his/her views, knowledge and experience. Impeccable written and oral English grammar required.
