Development and funding interns obtain highly sought-after skills in the charity and non-profit sector, including, but not exclusively, business planning and fundraising. By researching a diverse range of potential funders (from individuals and small trusts to larger foundations and governments), and helping in the preparation of funding proposals, report backs to funders and other materials, interns provide invaluable research and support assistance to the Fundraising team. Working in this department not only provides a unique glimpse into all the organisation's project areas, including our legal, advocacy, research and education and public awareness projects, but also offers wider insight into NGO work overall, particularly within a human rights environment.
