Research interns provide invaluable research and support assistance to the Research & Publications team on its preparation of reports, briefings and other materials.

The internships provide the opportunity to research a diverse array of human rights issues.

Essential:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with fluency in English
• Experience of research and analysis
• Experience and knowledge of human rights and law
• Graduate or postgraduate of a relevant discipline
• An understanding of working in the non-governmental sector and civil society organisations and the environment in which they operate
• Computer literacy and good typing skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure when necessary
• Flexible approach

Desirable:

• Working knowledge of another language
