Reporting to: Deputy Director
Salary: £20-26K (pro-rata) depending on experience/ funds available

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Finance Officer works closely with the Deputy Director to recommend improvements to financial systems, and implement policies and procedures related to finance, financial planning and analysis, information technology systems, and facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody new to the not-for-profit field/ third sector, but a person who has demonstrated excellent ability in the field of financial management and forecasting.

You will have a recognised accounting qualification and an interest in contributing to the fiscal management and the day-to-day operations of a small organisation. A good understanding of managing accounts and information needed to support forecasting and budgeting is important. You shall ideally share the goals and aims of the KHRP. You will share values of collaboration, innovation, excellence, integrity and commitment. You will be confident, creative and self-assured. You need to be an advanced user of Excel for reporting and forecasting and be familiar with Quickbooks or other similar accounting PC packages and PAYE or other payroll packages.
